jus realised its been a long time since i last updated. 0.o last fri, sat n sun, we went for the chevrolet driveaway trip to msia. supposed the rest of the teams at a place in tuas by 7. but at 7.10 we were still circlin arnd tryin to find d meet up place. cute rite. zzz but heng in the end still managed to find. n when we were settin off, we discovered dere was someone drivin a nissan sunny in our convoy when it was supposed to b a chevrolet driveaway. tsktsk. anyway, first stop was at yong peng to eat anthony's fishball noodles. damn nice can !!! lol.
after breakfast, d whole convoy headed off towards shah alam. n we had walkie talkies in our cars! so fun =D. but gt talkie still gt ppl manage to take wrong turns n stuffs. rofl. one time, tt kuku car (we called it 'yam cake' coz it was purple in colour. LOL) in front of us took a wrong turn n led the cars behind him the wrong way. heng still got our road marshalls behind us to lead us back on the right track. lol. nth really interestin happened on d drives, but the overtakin of cars on the 2 lane roads were horrigible. can practically see the cars opp. comin closer n closer. if really head-on collision den hallelujah le. lol.
den from shah alam, drove on towards ipoh after stoppin for lunch. i forgot at wad restaurant n eat wad le. 0.o loll. at arnd 7+ we finally reached the resort, to be more precise, swiss garden resort in damai laut. on the way into the resort got 19 humps k!! walao. sit till backside pain. n we reached tt time, jus nice see sunset !! omg..hmm but this pic doesnt seem to do the sunset much justice la. haha. see wit ur own eyes nicer!
in the evenin we had a hawaiian theme dinner. which was quite fun but the food so-so only. lol. 2nd day, some of the teams went to pangkor island but we went to giant instead. LOLL. bought quite a no. of things. but imagine queuing in the express lane(1o items or else), 3 ppl in front of u.....for 20 mins. WTH. den after tt went back to the resort. actually wanted to go canoeing (foc) but the waves abit too big so we played soccer instead. but the sand damn big and hard sia. -_- after soccer, went swimming for a while den 6+ went for seafood dinner. wakaka.
den on the last day sunday, we set off at 9 in the mornin for the drive back to singapore. at the mornin briefin, d organisers told us tt estimated time to reach s'pore wud b 8pm for those nt goin to the hot spring, and 12 midnite for those goin. more abt tt later.
the drive on the way back had more scenic views. esp the mountains tt had been thru erosion. loll. n on the way back, it started rainin. but the rain itself was interestin coz for 5 secs, the rain was so heavy we cudnt see much of the roads thru the windscreen and den after tt 5 secs, there was no more rain. and further up the road the same thing happened again. 0.o cute sia the rain. lol. before n after pics, 5 to 10 secs apart. 0.0
next is a pic of a mountain along the road, and i tink its more lik man-made than made by nature.
d trip back took longer than wad the organisers expected. as mentioned earlier, we were supposed to reach s'pore by 8pm, but at 9.30, we jus reached yong peng for dinner. LOL!! after dinner, it was a 1hr+ drive towards s'pore. and we reached the msia customs at arnd 11+ goin to 12midnite. haha den causeway jam, so after passin thru the customs, reached s'pore at arnd 12.30 to 1am. ZZZ 0.o n mind u, we didnt go for the hot spring on the way back to s'pore, and we reached 4hrs + after the anticipated time. imagine those who went to the hot spring, 4am+ den will reach singapore sia. OMG!!!!
