ive been wantin to ask this for quite some time.
does listening to hokkien songs automatically makes u an chao ah lian?
cause whenever i listen to hokkien songs,
my mum will say, 'u becomin more n more lik ah lian eh.'
oh wtf.
my ah ma listens to hokkien songs, oh u CHAO AH LIAN.
my ah gong listens to hokkien songs, oh u CHAO AH BENG.
my dad listens to hokkien songs, oh u CHAO AH PEK.
MAKES NO BLOODY SENSE RIGHT.
ok i would admit hokkien isnt really a very 'clean' dialect.
no tks to the cuss words and all.
as compared to d other dialects.
not like there are no cuss words in those dialects,
just that compared to them, hokkien sounds more uncivilized. lol
but if people are going to associate hokkien to bein uncilivised,
then its such a pity,
coz then there'll be SO MANY uncivilized people around, so sad hor.
people say we shud nv forget our roots.
so if my dialect is hokkien,

abt 10 weird stuff abt myself.... LOL
10 arrrrrr...mebbe some stuffs to me weird,
but to other ppl nt weird..

10 weird stuff abt me:
1) i use d pillow as a bolster, & d bolster as a pillow. ALWAYS. lol
2) i will cry if im VERY VERY VERY angry.
3) i dont like to go home early.
4) i can listen to 1 song for 1 whole day and wont even notice the song has been playin on & on 0.o
5) i only drink TAP water (soft drinks excluded). boiled water tastes weird.
6) if i wake up feeling energetic in the morning, i'll feel very irritated 0.0
7) i write with my left hand, but i can only use my right hand to play sports. any sports.
8) i think ALOT. every lil small thing i can think n think n think n...u get wad i mean
9) may look tough on the outside, but i cry very easily. hard to believe rite. lol
10) since 3 years ago, ive never dared to take a plane anymore. HAHA!

i hate it when others do that to me.
i hate it i hate it,
and im telling you seriously i hate it.
where are the comfortin words when you need them?
BAD MOOD THE WHOLE DAY.
pls piss me off, maybe i'll feel better.
i tried sleeping,
but coughed too much to slp soundly.
and ended up back on the internet.
went blog-hopping.
read one of the entry on my cuz's blog.
& it sort of touched a raw nerve in me.
only child. we're more similar than i tot we were.
just like hw i was when i was at her age, arnd 13/14 years old,
my mum never really had time for me.
she was always at work, helpin out in my grandfather's shop.
so its always just my dad n me at home
when he comes home from work at around 6+pm.
the only time i could see her was late at night
when she reaches home at around 9+++pm.
even sat n sun for her was workin days.
family day??? we never had one.
for my cuz, like me, both her parents are also working.
& also jus like me, she was left alone most of the time.
even tho they attend church tgt on sunday,
but family day was almost inexistent too.
bein only childs' wit workin parents,
its typically a case of,
hungry? give money, go buy food.
no money? stretch ur hand give u money.
want something? use money buy for you.
everythin is jus money.
family? HUH what family?
its always said that we should learn from other's mistakes.
the sad thing is, we dont.
it will always take our own mistakes to wake us up.
and by then, regrets are useless.
i wish for my cuz's sake, her parents will wake up soon enough.
me and my mum.
we're closer than close since then.
at the end of the day, its just us both versus the rest.
& even her friends are jealous of hw close we both are.
but are they prepared to go thru wad we went thru?
our's a special bond born out of a broken bond,
she's a strong woman, and i love her to bits.
i really miss him.
& im sure somehow, somewhere,
she does too.
